Axl Rose Hates Dr. Pepper

According to reports, Guns 'N' Roses frontman Axl Rose is quite displeased with Dr. Pepper.

As you heard on the Juke, the soda brand promised to give everyone (that's right everyone) a free drank if Axl came through with his promise to deliver the much anticipated album "Chinese Democracy."

As you probably know, Axl and his G'N'R remake actually released the album. Shockingly, it hasn't been called the worst album ever.

What you may not know is that Dr. Pepper folded under the pressure, and their site crashed with all the demand for free pop.

Now Axl and his lawyers are pissed, and they are letting the good doctor know about it. According to MTV.com, Axl's lawyer called the scheme "
exploitation of my clients’ legendary reputation and their eagerly awaited album,” and said that the whole fiasco “brazenly violated our clients’ rights.”

You can read the rest of this ridiculous story here.

Logo-tasitc

So I was bored the other day and decided to whip up a few logo designs for Less iPod, More Jukebox. I actually made these before Phil threw together the image at the top of the blog, so it's good to see we're on the same wavelength there.
Lemme know what you think!

How to make debates more Interesting

Hey ya'll.....We forgot to tell you that according to BU, today is Monday this week, so when you tuned in yesterday and didn't hear us, and started hysterically crying and all that....it was for no good reason whatsoever.

I'm Old Greg!

Actually, I'm Tim, one of your favorite four WTBU Interns. Hailing from Long Island, New York, I worked at my high school radio station, WSHR (91.9!) last year hosting the Friday Funk Hour, along with calling various football and basketball games, and the occasional WSHR Sports appearance. I love any and all Ska music, and am pretty much into almost every other genre of music aside from country and Hip-Hop since the turn of the century. Since we've been told to post on the blog under threat of death, I'll likely be the resident random picture guy, since there's no end to the random shit I can find on the Interwebs. So here's looking forward to good times on Less iPod, More Jukebox!

Nice Gallons!

Tim
